Who We Are


AC Video Solutions is a full service audio and video systems integrator. We offer expert consultation, technical support, and production services to a diverse clientele throughout the United States and Canada.

Our skills have been honed across a variety of audio, video and communications market segments including broadcast, production, post-production, CATV, education, medical care and corporate audio-visual systems.   We pride ourselves for always being on-budget, in time and delivering quality beyond expectation.

We are proud to hold the official designation of National Women’s Business Enterprise certification along with WBE certifications in New York and
New Jersey.

Our Key People

Andrea (Andy) Cummis - Managing Partner


Andy has more than thirty years of experience as an engineering, operations, and technology executive and consultant, and has worked with many broadcasting and media companies. She has consulted on issues such as new technology, system design, organizational structure, workflow, standard operating procedures, and startup planning for a variety of media companies.


Previously, Andry served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Oxygen Media, and as Director of Network Engineering and Operations for USA Networks.


Andy is the first woman to be an officer of the National Board of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE). She is presently the Treasurer for the National Board and Secretary for Chapter 15 (New York City). Andrea holds SBE certification as a Technical Operator (C.T.O.) and Broadcast Technician (C.B.T.).


Andy’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and an Executive Juris Doctorate (EJD) in Law and Technology from Concord Law School, where she graduated first in her class.


Andy is on the Board of Directors for Family Radio, NJ.



Renard Fiscus - Partner


Renard is the “nuts and bolts” partner of the organization with more than thirty years of mechanical and construction experience, providing invaluable full service integration coordination, managing the ergonomic infrastructure aspects of an installation such as lighting grid design, electrical requirements, green screen construction/implementation and general facility layout concepts.



Philip Altenburg - Senior Design Engineer


Philip has more than 25 years of experiences ranging from architectural, acoustical, mechanical and industrial design and engineering, as well as project /operations management.


Most recently, before joining AC Video Solutions Philip was an EIC at NEP Studios, involved in the building and commissioning the HD Video and Audio systems for the Gayle King Show for OWN, Yahoo Financials for Yahoo Online for NEP Studios. Philip also provided engineering support to the New York Duplication Center, the Offline Editing rooms, as well as a variety of live and pre-taped shows for Veria Living and Arise News was constantly engaging.


Philip is extremely proficient in a variety of design, control and programming software is affiliated with AES, SBE, SMPTE, and is an SBE Certified Audio Engineer.



George Gonos - VP Sales & Marketing


George Gonos has been a Technology Sales and Marketing Manager for the last 25 years serving the professional video industry with emphasis in electronics test and measurement. He has an extensive background in production, post-production, broadcasting and emerging technologies.


Over the course of his career, George has been instrumental in developing product lines from customer demand, to product definition, to sales and marketing planning, to final execution. He has complete understanding of all aspects of the business process and has been instrumental in developing corporate structures in line with business needs. George’s responsibilities at AC Video Solutions encompass sales team leadership, driving revenues through new product acquisitions, and developing the company’s overall marketing and business strategies.
